Use of Multiple Resources:
To have a successful and interesting lesson, I search internet for ideas. On the internet I can find a vast amount of useful information. I carefully evaluate it to create my perfect lesson plans. I use power point presentations, you-tube videos, educational videos, and Google Earth. All of the resources can make a lesson alive and engaging. My students like when I use different online timers to time a test or 5 minute math.
Brainpop jr. website lets me find very interesting and educational videos on any subject. |
You can travel around the world with Google Earth. Great tool to use with students to show our planet. |
I like to use different fun timers to time my students' work. They love them!!
Using Power Point Presentations:
I use power point presentations for my lessons. I think they are great because they are a great addition to visual and auditory learning. The lessons become interactive instead of being boring.
Using You-Tube:
There are a lot of great videos on you-tube. For one of the science lessons students had to learn the difference between a high and a low pitch sounds. So, I found some examples on you-tube.
Students listen to the very high pitch sound.
