I am very organized person. I like to plan ahead and be prepared. I always have my daily planner with me!
Creating weather calendar for a week. Every day students were looking at the weather and were writing it in their calendars. Hands on learning!
Making Science Plans:
For one of my science lessons during which we studied "How Matter Can Be Changed", I conducted an experiment with salt, water, and a string. It took several days for water to evaporate and for the salt to crystallize and attach to the string. During these days my students kept an eye on the cup for the progress. They were very excited when they saw what happened to the salt.
My Biggest and Longest Project:
This experience is from Beltsville Academy.
At the end of this school year my students were supposed to learn multiplication. I decided to introduce them to multiplication a little bit earlier. This process lasted several weeks. My plans were to read some books about multiplication, introduce students to the arrays, skip count and do warm ups in the morning using multiplication.
